Steve and I were sitting in the hot tub last night and witnessed lots of shooting stars. We looked online and found out early this morning was prime leonid meteor shower viewing. According to the online report the bright moon only allowed us to see the brightest of the meteors but we still got a good show and plan to watch again tonight. So grab a bottle of wine, get outside and spend some time with your loved ones watching this annual event.

Slideshow - Estes Park Elopement

As promised last week here are more photos from Tessa and Robert’s elopement in Estes Park. This wasn’t your ordinary elopement - Tessa and Robert did it right. They reserved Mary’s Lake Lodge and decorated the wedding arch with lovely flowers. Rose petals lined the path to the arch and Tessa’s red rose bouquet was simply stunning. Tessa was just gorgeous in her gown and Robert was dapper in his tux. After the ceremony we took some portraits of the bride and groom.
I am excite to post this. All of my 2009 brides will receive an online slideshow with their wedding collections. Tessa an Robert, since I need to practice using the program, you get to be my first slideshow. The song that is playing is called Sunkissed and that is how I felt about Tessa and Robert’s portraits. I got some wonderful sun flare in several images and many of the photos just look like the sun is kissing them on their wedding day.

It was a cool and breezy day, we even got a little bit of snow (that is the white flakes you see in a few pictures) but Anika and her mom were ready for anything. Anika even shared some of her mellows with me (yummy mini marshmellows).

I spent a cool and breezy afternoon with Anika in Estes Park. She had the most beautiful red curls and bright blue eyes. She is definitely going to be a heart breaker. This is my favorite photo. More will be posted soon.

Dave and Suzanne are getting married…

I had such a great time photographing Dave and Suzanne’s engagement photos and the fact that they brought Elway, their dog, made my day. We met at Chautauqua Park in Boulder for the engagement photographs. Dave and Suzanne got perfect weather and the final days of glorious fall color for their images. My favorite pictures are posted here. They haven’t decided if their wedding will be in Colorado or California - but either state will be beautiful place and I can’t wait to see the place you choose.

Baby Z is 6 Months Old

One of the joys of portrait photography is watching my clients grow up. Last week I got to spend the afternoon with Zurianna for her 6 month old photos. You may remember Baby Zuri’s newborn photos. I cannot believe she is already 6 month old. She is such a happy baby and such fun to work with. Plus, we had a gorgeous Fall day. Sneak peak photos are posted here. Lacey and Tim are Getting Married…

I was so glad to meet Lacey and Tim in Denver for their engagement photographs. We had a beautiful Fall day to explore and take some fun pictures. Lacey and Tim met in Lyons at Planet Blue Grass. For her engagement photos Lacey wore the same pretty green dress she wore when they met - I totally understand why Tim couldn’t keep his eyes off her Tim and Lacey are so much in love and it just shows in the way they look at each other.
