Tapestry House Wedding

Kurt and Christina were married at Tapestry House this week.  It was an elegant wedding in a gorgeous setting.  Located just six miles from downtown Fort Collins, Tapestry House is an elegant Victorian country manor situated on a stunning five acre setting of lawns, flower gardens, a meandering creek and majestic old growth trees. The Tapestry House enjoys a lovely country setting, near the foothills in the small town of LaPorte. Tapestry House can accommodate events of five to 225 guests and may be the ideal location for your wedding.

I loved how organized Tapestry House was.  Every little detail is taken care of behind the scenes.  Here the groomsmen are lined up in front of the house while the bridesmaids lined up on the front porch.

The reception pavilion is located right behind Tapestry House and includes a terrace area perfect for cocktails and then the inside seating room.

Maryland Wedding

This love story began in high school, but needed a little ice cream to sweeten the beginning: Colleen was not initially interested because Dan was ‘only’ a Junior! A determined Dan found out Colleen loved ice cream, and she eventually agreed to have ice cream with him. Dan’s tour of duty in Afghanistan allowed Colleen to realize how much he meant to her and how much she missed him. Colleen and Dan were married in a ceremony at St. Joe’s and the reception was at Lynfield Event Complex.

Here are only a few highlights from their wedding.  Stay tuned for the slideshow which will tell more of the story.

Getting Ready

After months of planning the dress waits to be put on…

If you have two photographers at your wedding this is what you can get.  Steve was up in the balcony while I was on the main floor.

It was a little windy and the veil wasn’t cooperating, but this mess lead to the next intimate moment.

3 Month Old Photos

Introducing Susannah.

I got to spend the afternoon yesterday with baby Susannah and her family.  She is 3 months old and has a beautiful smile, like her mom.

Two favorites – I loved mom’s smile and Susannah’s yellow Spring dress.
