The first line on Della Terra‘s website is “Welcome to the very romantic world of Della Terra” and they aren’t just saying that, it is true. I attended the grand opening open house this weekend and was truly amazed. We’ve have visited a few times during construction and to see this mountain beauty ready to welcome guests is amazing. The chateau is nestled in the rocky mountains and rises up to welcome you into her relaxing world.
The front entrance to the chateau.

One of a gazillion photo spots for your wedding portraits.

The inside reception area. The flowers were done by Floral Design of Europe and I loved how she used the rocks to give the design a very earthly feeling.

Enough about weddings, did you realize Della Terra is also a Chateau with 14 unique guest rooms?? This is the perfect place to escape for a long weekend or winter retreat. Celebrate your honeymoon or anniversary at Della Terra.

Each room has it’s own soaking tub, water feature and private patio with a hot tub for 2.

And there is a fireplace in every room. It’s in the center so if you look you’ll see the bed through the fireplace and the soaking tub is behind the camera.

Every room is uniquely designed and has a name. The fire room was Steve’s favorite.

I’m sure Steve will not be the last person to totally chill out at Della Terra Mountain Chateau.

Della Terra is open and accepting reservations for your Estes Park wedding or mountain escape. Shurie and Tony, we are looking forward to photographing your wedding in September and many more gorgeous weddings at the chateau (and perhaps a stay for Steve and I after wedding season- hint, hint Steve![]()
