One of my favorite moments was Jocelyn’s dance with her father. Not because the dancing was remarkable but because of the song choice. They played a children’s song- I wish I knew what is was but it was sooo sweet. Jocelyn and her dad were singing as they danced and Jocelyn’s sister and mom were on the side of the dance floor hugging, singing and crying. You could just envision Jocelyn’s dad singing this song to his precious little girls and now to this precious young woman. Tearing up as I type so time to post this.
Keeping with the theme of the past couple weeks here is another moment when Karin and Dan left their charming wedding in Ryssby Church. Dan just lightly pulled Karin’s hand and they leaned in for a sweet kiss. Totally spontaneous and simple.
Of course from my perspective I was practically running after them and praying I didn’t trip because I had a camera in front of my face and could not see the stairs out of the church and trying not to get too close to them and wondering what they were going to do and getting my camera setting right because the settings outside are different then inside the church…. Then doing internal happy dances because this was so sweet. But that is why I love wedding photography, I never know what to expect and am thrilled at the beautiful intimate moments I witness.

A beautiful day in Boulder, a charming Inn and a wonderful couple – this defined AJ and Vanessa’s wedding day. The Greenbriar Inn was the setting for this lovely wedding. AJ and Vanessa were a joy to photograph. Below are my favorites from their wedding day.

A beautiful bride and handsome groom. Lovely details. Family and friends that just wanted to have fun! This is why I love photographing weddings. Eric and Julia’s elegant and fun wedding was held at The Stadium Club at Folsom Field in Boulder, CO. I’ve highlighted a few of my favorite moments here with a slideshow at the end.

I was privileged to have John Hudetz as my second photographer. He was wonderful to work with and got these fantastic photos of Eric and his groomsmen out on Folsom Field. It looks like they had a blast and I was so happy to have a male eye for these.
