We live in a beautiful place. Steve, Sparky and I enjoyed the gorgeous fall colors this weekend. We drove up to Estes Park to see the Aspen. Took a hike and took some photos.
We finished our hike at New Belgium Brewery in Ft. Collins because Sparky could join us and we love their beer.
Today Steve, Sparky and I participated in the Longmont Humane Society Walk for the Animals and Furry Friends festival.
What a beautiful day for a walk. The dog walk is my favorite charity event of the year (Sparky’s too). I love seeing all the dogs and enjoying a great day in Longmont. Pictures are below including the dog agility course and several of the dogs available for adoption at the humane society. Our latest family photo is at the bottom - taken by my dear friend Jennifer.

I got to shoot a portrait session with Kia today. I love the way she worked the camera. Such a natural beauty.
If you haven’t noticed I love animals. Companions are always welcome on photo shoots or as the star of their own session.
I got a new lens this week and my favorite model agreed to strike some poses for me - I wish all models worked for dog biscuits. Here is Sparky posing for the camera.
Wow, I’ve been fighting a cold for 3 weeks now but am finally feeling better. I guess it’s that time of year. I am so excited. I got a chance to photograph Owen and Quincy yesterday with my new camera. I ordered a new Nikon D300 and it arrived this week on my birthday - what a perfect gift! I am adding children and pets to my portfolio and spent the morning with my neighbor here in Lyons. It was fun hanging out and watching Owen play with Quincy. I got some really cute pictures. Below are my favorite photos from the day. I’ll be adding more to the website later this week.
