Colorado is full of gorgeous places for weddings. To help you in planning your wedding and finding the perfect place I’ll be featuring a few of my favorite places to photograph. To see all of the featured locations select the category ‘Wedding Sites”
Looking for a charming, historic church to host your Colorado wedding ceremony? The Ryssby Church was organized in 1878 and is a beautiful site. Located southwest of Longmont, Colorado in Boulder County, Colorado at 9000 North 63rd Street . Visit their webite to inquiry for your wedding date: Ryssby Church.

Yeah, another happy bride and groom. This review is from Karin and Dan from their wedding at Ryssby Church and Rembrandt Yard.
“Jennifer and her husband Steve worked as a team for our engagement photos and wedding. They went above and beyond our expectations and captured some great moments that will be long lasting memories for us. We really appreciated that they took the time to get to know us on a personal level before our wedding which made working with them on our wedding day seamless and comfortable. The resulting images are real and beautiful.”

A wedding at the St Julien Hotel and The Kitchen – what a wonderful wedding to finish my year. The final wedding of the year is always bittersweet – I am looking forward to a little holiday down time but I know I am going to miss photographing weddings even for this short time. And Jocelyn and Seans’ wedding was beautiful. They were such a fun and elegant couple and I loved working with them.
This post is just a tiny sneak preview – I’ll post the complete story and slideshow later. As you can see Jocelyn was a classic beauty- all I can say is birdcage veil, mink stole and green Jimmy Choos. She even had a vintage nightgown and had me do a mini boudoir session before she put on the dress. I had sssooooo much fun at this wedding and I cannot wait to show you more.

I finally get to post Karin and Dan’s wonderful wedding. This was our final wedding of the season (not the year just the wedding season). If you’ve been following the blog back in March when I posted Karin and Dan’s engagement photos you know I promised a cool story. You’ll have to keep reading for that story. My favorite photos are posted with the slideshow at the end. This wedding was a great way to end the season. Karin and Dan were wonderful and all of the vendors they choose were a dream to work with – the day couldn’t have been better.
On to the wedding photos: The champagne waiting for the new husband and wife to return was what caught my eye in this getting ready image.

Putting on the veil is always a fun photo.

OK, the story… when Dan and Karin were first dating they went on a bike ride together in the back roads of Boulder. They stopped to take a break in front of a charming old stone church and Dan jokingly said ‘maybe we’ll get married here someday’. Well, someday was this October. The church was Ryssby Church and it was perfect place for a wedding ceremony.

So I am going through my favorite photos and I’ve picked 3 of the bridal bouquet. Look at how gorgeous it is. Nicole at Cottage Garden Creations did a fabulous job.

So Dan went to CU and Karin went to KU and the CU vs KU football game was the same day as their wedding. SO after the ceremony they stopped in a Boulder bar to catch a little of the game. And yes, they were still talking to each other by the end of the evening.

I was so excited when Karin told me she had selected Inticate Icings for the wedding cake. I taste a lot of wedding cake and these cakes are one of the yummiest and moistest cakes in Colorado. They also selected Spice of Life for the caterer and the food was yummy too. You can’t go wrong with Spice of Life.

These dancing photos are my favorites. So intimate, sensual, romantic and shows just how in love Karin and Dan are…
