Enjoy the slideshow from Mike and Keira’s Connecticut wedding. An elegant military, Jewish fusion wedding.

I am finally posting photos from Mike and Keira’s beautiful wedding at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam, CT. Mike and Keira were enjoying a much needed honeymoon in France so I waited until I knew they were back home. I tried to convince them to take me to Champagne with them but for some reason they didn’t want a photographer at their honeymoon.
Mike and Keira’s wedding was a unique fusion of military and Jewish traditions and was simply an elegant wedding. These photos are my favorites that tell their story. Watch for the slideshow which I’ll be posting soon for more.
The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station was a gorgeous location. The bridal suite was elegantly decorated and made for a lovely background while Keira prepared for her wedding.

Meanwhile in the boys’ dressing room…

Mike and Keira choose to do a first look before the ceremony so we could get the family portraits done and they could join the cocktail hour. The stairs at The Riverhouse made a wonderful location.

A stunning ketubah.

And I especially loved that the ketubah and chupah matched. The outdoor ceremony patio at The Riverhouse was beautiful and the rain stayed away.

Signing the ketubah. Most of my photos are photojournalist meaning I don’t influence the image I simply photograph what I see as it happens – I like being a fly on the wall. As I was photographing the signing Mike and Keira were being so cute and in love then I noticed the mirror and got a little artsy with the image. One of those unique moments I am always looking for at your wedding.

Keira and her sister peaking out the window as the guests begin to arrive.

A couple candid guest photos before the ceremony. I loved the light on grandma and this adorable little girl.

Just something different…

Recreating the welcome home sailor photo.

Another one of those moments I love between the flower girl and bride. I wonder what she was whispering?

If you want a classy getaway reserve a classic car.

Congratulations Mike and Keira and thank you for having Steve and I at your elegant Connecticut wedding.

Even wild fires couldn’t spoil Suzanne and Dave’s California Vineyard wedding. We traveled to Fess Parker Winery in Los Olivos, California for this gorgeous wedding. Wine, vines, a fun bride and groom and beautiful California weather were the ingredients for this wedding. Suzanne and Dave were a pleasure to photograph. Here are the highlights of their wedding day.

The fires were on the other side of the ridge – you can see the smoke on the right side of this photo.

Suzanne was so beautiful but I also loved this photo of Dave as he was watching her work the camera.

Dave and Suzanne met over a Monopoly game hence the Monopoly themed tables.

The photo guest book we designed from their engagement session.

I loved this first dance photo Steve took.

Isn’t Fess Parker an elegant spot for a wedding?

Watch the blog for a slideshow with more of their story.
Thank you Suzanne and Dave for inviting us to your wedding. We enjoyed getting to know you and are looking forward to seeing you again.

When I met Suzanne she had set a date for her wedding but had not decided if it would be at a Colorado Mountain Chateau or a beautiful California Vineyard. I told her either way I would love to be her photographer. She eventually decided on Fess Parker Winery and Steve and I traveled to California be a part of Dave and Suzanne’s wedding. We are still wine tasting and chilling on the beach but I had to post these 2 previews. I think the first photo sums up how in love Dave and Suzanne are and what a pleasure working with them was. It was taken as they were waiting for formal photos to begin. The second image is my favorite photo – another unposed quick photo I grabbed as Suzanne was walking to the reception.

Watch for more photos soon.
