This week’s moment to remember is from Jill and Thad’s wedding at Aspen Lodge. It is a fun memory that Steve took. After the ceremony the flower girl was celebrating by tossing rose petals in the air. So I am too honest and will admit this image was staged because Steve couldn’t get over to her fast enough and yes, I will admit I photoshopped in some of the petals (the best petal photo she had her eyes closed so I combined the two) but she was doing this on her own at first and I just smile every time I look at it.
Aspens in all their Fall glory and a beautiful couple made this engagement perfect. Despite a rain storm right when we were scheduled to begin Serena and Luke hid under the pavilion with me and waited for the Colorado weather to change. And the saying was right – wait 20 minutes and the weather will change. We went from a downpour to bright blue skies and rainbows. I was so excited to see the Aspen in Estes Park changing to their Fall yellows. Fall is my favorite time for photos and Serena and Luke were so much fun to work with. My favorite photos are below.
Thank you for braving the rain with me. I enjoyed our time in the park together. Serena and Luke are getting married next May. Enjoy this time together planning your wedding – it will be beautiful.
I’m happy to share photos from Aaron and Sierra’s beautiful Della Terra Mountain Chateau wedding. They were married in a breathtaking Colorado Mountain chateau in Estes Park. The wedding was so elegant and classy. I loved working with Aaron, Sierra and their family. Here are my favorite photos and the slideshow with lots more is at the end of the post.
Sierra got ready in one of Della Terra’s unique guest suites. Each room has a fireplace, soaking tub, balcony and hot tub.
Aaron and Sierra decided to do a first look before the ceremony.
Aaron had a special gift for Sierra. He went to Jared….
I loved Sierra’s sexy teal shoes.

I’ve been looking forward to Thad and Jill’s Estes Park wedding. They exchanged vows at Aspen Lodge in a classic Colorado setting – surrounded by evergreens, aspen groove, and a mountain backdrop. Their wedding was beautiful and full of love and joy. Thad and Jill opted to do a first look before the ceremony to allow them to enjoy more of their reception. And at the reception they had Lonesome Ridge Bluegrass Band playing. Here are a few of my favorite photos from their wedding. The slideshow is at the end to see the whole wedding story.
Jill looking stunning in the alpine glade.
I asked the them to take a twirl with the Colorado mountains and aspens behind them.
